Due to the decrease in participation among women across the United States and Canada, the offering of Quadrennial ended. Our last Quadrennial was held in Atlanta in 2014. June 23-28, 2014 -Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia. The Theme of the gathering of women from all across the US, Canada, and around the globe, was “I See You.” The theme came to life as we experienced “I see you through the “Eyes of Grace,” with the “Voice of Compassion,” with the “Hands of Justice,” and with a “Heart of Joy.” We ended with “I See You “whole”. Approximately 95 women Disciples Women from Virginia attended QA. Rev. Marilyn Taylor of First Christian Lynchburg (our former Associate Regional Minister) was recognized along with four other women for attending every Quadrennial Assembly Assembly since its inception in 1957. Virginia hosted two international sisters. One from China and one from Columbia before the gathering.
