The upcoming edition, Living the Abundant Life, is seated in the words in John 10: 7-10. This study aims to help women deepen their understanding of the Bible passage and how it applies to their lives and the lives of others. In this gospel reading, Jesus identifies himself as the good shepherd, the one who protects the sheep and looks after their well-being. Jesus says that he comes so we may have abundant life. While abundant life may mean different things to different people, abundant life is about people experiencing what philosophers refer to as the good life. It is about flourishing as one lives meaningful lives and finds one’s purpose. This issue of Just Women will focus on helping people with what is necessary so that they may flourish and establish opportunities and spaces where others may flourish.
